TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCOMMODATION
RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION
The reservation made by the customer is binding for both Villa Elba and the customer once Elba has confirmed the reservation. Villa Elba provides written confirmation via email, which includes details of the agreed services, prices, and cancellation policy.
CUSTOMER’S ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Unless otherwise agreed, the room will be available to the customer from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, and the room must be vacated by 12:00 PM on the day of departure. The keys to the apartment will be handed to the customer at the reception of Villa Elba upon arrival. Key handover outside opening hours will be arranged with the customer in advance.
STAYING IN THE ACCOMMODATION
Villa Elba’s beach is available for the guests’ use (please note that there is no supervision on the beach). The sauna can be rented separately. The customer must bring their own bed linen and towels or rent them separately from Villa Elba. Bed linen must always be used, even when sleeping in a sleeping bag. If beds are used without bed linen, we will charge for the costs of laundering the bed linen and mattress cover.
The customer is expected to stay in the accommodation in a manner consistent with good manners and to leave the accommodation in a clean condition. The final cleaning is included in the accommodation price. The renter is responsible for the general cleanliness of the apartment after the reservation ends. It is expected that furniture and other equipment are in their original places and in good condition, and that trash is taken to the dumpster. Doors and windows must be locked when leaving. If special cleaning is required due to the customer’s actions, a cleaning fee of at least 80 € will be charged. Meals are not included in the accommodation.
COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGES
The customer is obliged to compensate for any damages caused to the accommodation, furnishings, or the environment. If the customer causes serious disturbance, danger, or disregards the given instructions in the accommodation or its surroundings, the rental agreement can be terminated immediately, and the customer is not entitled to a refund of the rent. The person who caused the unjustified fire alarm will be responsible for the costs incurred. A fee of 50 € will be charged for lost keys, which will be invoiced afterwards.
The customer is obliged to fill in the accommodation card received from the reception completely and clearly. Each guest must fill in their own card unless the group is so large that accommodation lists are provided at the reception, and each customer is also obliged to enter their information clearly and completely. Accommodation lists are used, for example, when accommodating large camps.
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Pets are allowed in cottage number 6 for an additional fee of 20 €.
CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW
Cancellations must always be made in writing to the respective sales service address or via email. A cancellation is considered to have occurred at the moment when the cancellation notice has been received by our sales service. The agreement for the accommodation reservation is binding for both parties. If either party breaches the agreement, they are obligated to pay compensation to the other party. The compensation for unused room is calculated as follows for private customers:
- There is no obligation for compensation if the cancellation is made no later than 3:30 PM on the day prior to arrival.
- If the cancellation occurs later than the aforementioned time, the customer will pay the price for one night.
- If the customer fails to arrive without canceling the reservation, the customer will pay the price for one night.
Group reservations and camps have their own cancellation policies.
The accommodation payment is made at the time of check-in, either in cash or by credit card, unless a different payment method has been agreed upon during the booking phase.
